County soldier died in service of others (Delaware County Times)
A 20-year-old Delaware County soldier was standing in the gunner’s hatch of an up-armored vehicle when he was shot by a sniper Dec. 30 in the city of Tikrit, Iraq, about 90 miles north of Baghdad, according to an U.S. Army public affairs officer.
